The big game is finally here! While you root for Denver tonight, you may be having friends and family over to watch the game with you at your home at The Amaranth. With the game itself, the memorable advertising, and the highly-anticipated halftime show, you may think that there is enough entertainment for you and your guests. However, there are several fun and interactive games you can play to keep them stimulated beyond what the programming has to offer! These games are sure to make your night extra special as you cheer on Denver!

Predictions
Make things interesting by having your guests make predictions about the game. This will add even more fun to the evening’s festivities as you squirm with anticipation in hopes that your predictions come true. Predict what the score will be at halftime, which players will catch touchdown passes, how many turnovers there will be, how many flags will be thrown, and much more! The winners are entitled to bragging rights.

Football Charades
Football charades is played just as normal charades is, but uses only football themed words. This game is interactive and is perfect to use as an icebreaker if you have guests that do not know each other very well. You can play men against women, or pick teams randomly! For the winning team, give out football-themed prizes such as Denver drink cozies.

Cook off
Food is a staple of watching the big game. Everyone loves to bring over their homemade recipes for others to enjoy. Now, you can add to the fun and declare a cook off! Each person will taste test each dish and anonymously vote on paper for their favorite (they can’t vote for their own.) Tally the votes and reward the winner with a new serving dish! It’s the perfect gift for a cook off champion.

While you’re watching the big game this evening, keep your friends and family entertained at every turn. Do you have any traditions during the big game? Share with us and your neighbors a selfie of you rooting for Denver while you are watching the game at The Amaranth!
