Their 2016 opens with the GLASS MENAGERIE on March 4th. This Tennessee Williams' play is about a character named Tom supporting the family his father abandoned. It is all told through old stories and memories. The show won New York Drama Critics Circle Award in 1945 and launched Tennessee Williams into fame.
Then, starting June 3rd you can see the show 4000 MILES. This is a dramatic comedy written by Amy Herzog. It ran off-broadway in 2001 and 2012. It was then a finalist for the 2013 Pulitzer Prize For Drama. The play is about Leo Joseph-Connell. He suffers a major loss while he was on a cross-country bike trip, he seeks solace from his feisty grandmother Vera Joseph in her West Village apartment.
Finally, the 2016 season ends with the THE LAST ROMANCE. This show runs through October starting on the 7th. This show written by Joe Dipietro premiered at the Old Globe in 2010, after debuting at Kansas City's New Theatre in 2008. Joe Dipiertro is most known for his work on Memphis, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change and All Shook Up. He has had many shows on Broadway over the past 20 years.
